Analisis Muatan Nilai-Nilai Karakter Buku Sebuah Biografi Andy Noya (Kisah Hidupku)

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah, Nilai karakter merupakan sifat dan kebajikan dalam diri manusia yang memuat beberapa hal seperti sportivitas, dermawan, sopan santun dan empati yang dapat diamati melalui hubungan seseorang dengan orang lain. Andy Flores Noya adalah seorang wartawan, seorang penulis serta membawakan acara Kick Andydi televisi Indonesia dengan berbagai bintang tamu inspiratif. Berdasarkan latar belakang karir Andy Flores Noya atau Andy Noya Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan ekspresi dan wujud nilai-nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam buku biografi Andy Noya: Kisah Hidupku sebagai kisah perjalanan hidup Andy sejak kecil hingga menjadi wartawan professional. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan beberapa langkah yang dilakukan yaitu, membaca keseluruhan isi dilanjutkan menyeleksi dan menandai paragraph, frasa, kata, dan kalimat yang bermakna informatif berkaitan dengan nilai karakter, Melakukan identifikasi dan klasifikasi data dengan berdasar butir-butir masalah. Mentafsirkan secara semiotic data yang diidentifikasi dan klasifikasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh tentang nilai-nilai pada karakter utama yaitu: manajemen diri, ketulusan, control diri, moral, kepatuhan, kebangsaan, kemanusiaan, menghormati dan cinta damai. Hasil penelitian dapat berkontribusi dalam menyajikan makna, pesan juga tanda dalam perkembangan selama hidup pada aspek nilai karakter dalam diri seseorang, sehingga dalam hal pembelajaran dan pendidikan karakter juga dapat dipelajari melalui berbagai tokoh yang kompeten dan professional dibidang tertentu. Melalui tokoh-tokoh professional yang menginspirasi dari pencapaian dan perjalanan hidup tentu memiliki nilai karakter dan moral yang dapat dijadikan contoh
