Efektifitas Media Buku Cerita untuk Menambah Kosakata Anak Usia Dini di Kota Jepara

Penelitian ini menyajikan efektifitas dan evaluasi intervensi media buku cerita yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kosa kata di kalangan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel 50 siswa prasekolah berusia empat sampai lima tahun dari taman kanak-kanak setempat di Kota Jepara, Indonesia. Media buku cerita dikembangkan berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran bercerita dan kosa kata yang efektif, dan dilengkapi fitur-fitur interaktif seperti gambar pop-up dan panduan pengucapan audio. Intervensi dilaksanakan selama empat minggu, dimana siswa dipaparkan media buku cerita selama tiga puluh menit setiap hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada skor kosa kata siswa pasca intervensi. Siswa sebagai pembelajar usia dini juga menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap media buku cerita, yang menunjukkan keterlibatan dan kesenangan yang tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media buku cerita dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kosa kata di kalangan siswa usia dini, dan memberikan implikasi bagi pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan dalam mengembangkan intervensi literasi yang efektif.
