Konsep Hoikuen dan Youchien di Jepang

Konsep hoikuen dan youchien sering kali membuat bingung, karena keduanya merupakan pendidikan untuk anak usia dini. Namun, keduanya memiliki perbedaan dalam sistem pendidikannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep hoikuen dan youchien di Jepang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode pengumpulan data library research. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hoikuen umumnya mencakup fasilitas penitipan anak, yang juga disebut nursery, sedangkan youchien mengacu pada taman kanak-kanak. Di hoikuen rata-rata anak akan lebih diajarkan tentang fun activity seperti prakarya, olahraga, mendongeng, musik dan sebagainya. Youchien lebih didedikasikan untuk tujuan pendidikan. Jadi youchien memiliki lebih banyak pelajaran dibandingkan dengan hoikuen.
