Abstract

Kemampuan motorik halus sangat penting untuk dikembangkan karena akan berdampak pada masa depan anak saat besar nanti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas kegiatan bermain menggunakan media pasir ajaib dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 4-5 tahun di KB Permata Sunnah Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart, melibatkan 12 anak sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pada pra-siklus, kegiatan motorik halus menggunakan media konvensional menunjukkan hasil yang kurang optimal, dengan pencapaian sebesar 35,4%. Setelah intervensi menggunakan pasir ajaib pada Siklus I dan Siklus II, terjadi peningkatan signifikan menjadi 64% dan 97,2%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pasir ajaib efektif dalam meningkatkan koordinasi mata-tangan, kemampuan menjumput, dan menggenggam anak. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penggunaan media bermain yang bervariasi dalam pembelajaran untuk mendukung perkembangan motorik halus anak secara optimal.
