Analisis Perbedaan Strategi Penanganan Anak Tunanetra

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan strategi penanganan anak tunanetra antara Indonesia dan luar negeri. Metode yang digunakan adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kepustakaan atau library research dengan menggunakan tujuh subjek negara sebagai sampel. Hasil didapatkan Indonesia memiliki strategi dalam penanganan anak tunanetra yaitu dengan mendirikan pelayanan pendidikan seperti SLB. Di China memiliki kebijakan pijat buta dalam strateginya untuk memperbaiki penyandang disabilitas penglihatan di Tiongkok. Di India, strategi dalam penanganan anak tunanetra yaitu dengan menciptakan media pembelajaran Braile. Di Inggris strategi penanganan anak tunanetra yaitu dengan penciptaan project Torino. Di Malaysia, sekolah-sekolah tersebut menggunakan kurikulum pembelajaran Braille dan bahasa isyarat. Selanjutnya upaya Pakistan untuk mewujudkan pendidikan inklusif bagi anak-anak tunanetra ditandai dengan kombinasi hambatan dan kemajuan penting. Kemudian kerangka kebijakan Sri Lanka untuk pekerjaan bagi penyandang disabilitas melibatkan empat sektor utama: kesehatan, pendidikan, layanan sosial, dan ketenagakerjaan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting yaitu memberikan data lengkap mengenai perbedaan strategi penanaganan anak Tunanetra antara Indonesia dengan negara China, India, Inggris, Malaysia, Pakistan, dan Srilanka yang berguna untuk melihat strategi penanganan tunanetra berdasarkan kondisi masyarakat.
