Pengaruh Buku Bacaan terhadap Peningkatan Minat Baca dan Keterampilan Bahasa pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Dalam era digital, penggunaan buku bacaan tradisional dan digital mempengaruhi minat baca dan keterampilan bahasa siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas kedua jenis buku bacaan tersebut. Melalui metode literature review, artikel ini mengkaji studi empiris yang dipublikasikan dalam lima tahun terakhir. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa buku bacaan tradisional lebih efektif dalam membangun keterampilan dasar membaca dan kosakata, karena interaksi fisik dengan buku meningkatkan konsentrasi dan pemahaman. Buku digital, sebaliknya, menawarkan keunggulan dalam aksesibilitas dan interaktivitas, meningkatkan motivasi membaca melalui fitur multimedia. Buku digital juga memungkinkan penyesuaian tingkat kesulitan bacaan sesuai kemampuan siswa, mempercepat perkembangan keterampilan bahasa. Namun, buku digital memiliki tantangan seperti potensi distraksi dan kebutuhan perangkat teknologi yang memadai. Kesimpulannya, kombinasi buku tradisional dan digital dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan keterampilan bahasa siswa. Integrasi keduanya dalam kurikulum pembelajaran diharapkan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan interaktif.
